Why We Created It

The AROW Marathon Short v.2 is the latest iteration of our training and racing short, meticulously updated and improved over an intensive 18 month period to culminate in the ideal short for medium and long distance running. Retaining the identity and intended purpose of the original Marathon Short, the v.2 has been upgraded in every conceivable way - from an improved fit to a revolution in fabric technology.

Featuring an incredibly soft brief liner with a new hosiery-grade seam that keeps you protected without any chafing, the Marathon Short has a 5 inch, fully woven 4-way stretch outer shell from Payen - one of the most advanced fabrics in sports apparel and the new basis for our short range. The woven shell is ultra-light, incredibly quick drying, UPF50 protecting and more abrasion resistant and hangs perfectly for all day comfort and style.

The slimmed down BounceLess storage system has been improved, with a deeper rear pocket, a tighter mesh system and tabs for ease of entry in challenging conditions - easily capable of storing phones, keys, fuel, flasks and everything you need for a serious adventure - all whilst staying tight to the body and avoiding bounce. As the Chance family come to expect, our storage solutions are second to none and have been rigorously tested at the highest level.
